Sirate Tsion (the book of order) 1 — Ser'ata Seyon

Ser'ata Seyon, the Orders of Zion, gathers thirty canons at the head of the Ethiopic Sinodos. The material belongs to the Apostolic Church Order stream: how a congregation is arranged, who may teach and serve, and what early community discipline looks like when it is attributed to the apostles. It stands first as a compact rule for Zion’s household before the longer statute-books unfold.

Meaning: Sinodos begins by claiming apostolic shape for ordinary church life. These thirty canons teach that holiness is not only preached; it is ordered in offices, assembly, and shared practice so a people can remain one.
